Last week while heading up north with my gent, we drove past a digger. I expressed my interest in them. My longing to operate one.

I've been going on about diggers for such a long time. Several years in fact. I had no idea they actually had places like diggerland where you can go and drive one to your hearts content. What a wonderful discovery [thanks to A xx]

Things have been pretty hectic lately. It's been all systems go since the kids are back at Uni. Incalls are more or less back to normal.
I did have a succession of dinner dates last week which prompted me to have a rethink on how many I should accept per week. I've decided 3 in one week is far too many!

My trip to the north was absolutely divine. The hotel was beautiful. The brasserie menu was scrumptious. My date was perfect all round.
Although I've known my gent for 5 years, this was our first ever overnight. We'd never had the opportunity before now. A fantasy I never thought would become a reality. The date was over too soon, despite having spent the day and night together.  But, its never going to be enough, is it? Time just passes us by too quickly.
