The one I visit is The Greenway at the Newham Hospital. I made them aware from day one that I was an escort so that they would take extra care to ensure I had all the tests necessary on each visit.
Last year they started a clinic on Tuesdays, specifically for ladies like myself, run by the Open Doors team.
This changed everything for me. Previously my visits would have taken anything from 2 to 6 hours as the GUM I visit does not have an appointments system. With Open Doors, I am in and out within an hour [if that]
My sexual health worker Sarah is just amazing. She takes care of everything herself. I have no need to see anyone else. She does the consultation, blood tests, swabs etc.
As you know, I usually come away with lots of pricks in my arms and back of hands due to the several attempts to take my blood... my veins tend to do a disappearing act on each visit you see. Well this genius of a woman, Sarah, managed to get my blood on first attempt [a round of applause for her gentlemen].
It was all over and done with in just half an hour... another half an hour talking to her about my work etc.... THAT was the interesting part you see. We both love talking and we are both VERY interested in what each has to say.
I mentioned I had recently met with Helen Atkins who works for the Poppy/Eaves project. That's when our conversation got 'really' interesting!
Open Doors
Open doors are there to help those of us who are happy in what we do, to work safely. They visit the parlours in Central London, Hackney and now Newham, providing them with the tests, advice, condoms etc.
The Open Doors team are 100% opposed to the idea of making 2 or more escorts working from a flat illegal. Like myself, they are strongly of the belief that there is safety in numbers. Harriet Harman really needs to stop tarnishing us all with the same brush. Not all girls are trafficked. I have NEVER come across anyone who has. I'm not saying there aren't any trafficked prostitutes. What I'm saying is, lets get real with the numbers!

Interview with Helen Atkins
Now you gentlemen know I keep a VERY low profile. I don't wish to get caught up in the whole 'prostitution scenario' as I do this on a very part time basis and plan to keep things that way for now.
I had kept up to date with all the uproar on how almost all prostitutes are trafficked [its what Harriet Harman would have us believe anyway]
So when Helen contacted me, saying I had been mentioned by one of the ladies she met, I agreed to meet her [but not before making inquiries to satisfy my curiosity].
She is writing a report for South Bank University and it should be published next summer.
I felt it was important for my voice to be heard as I was speaking from the other side of the fence. The side where women are NOT trafficked and are VERY happy in the work we do.
I gave Helen a little peek into the lifestyle I have as an escort. How incredibly caring and protective of me you gentlemen are. How you spoil me rotten. All the holidays I have been on with you gents. All the lovely [sometimes very expensive] gifts I am constantly showered with. How my confidence has shot through the roof since I started working as an Escort.
I told her I had no plans to leave this work. You see, the Poppy/Eaves project is all about helping women LEAVE prostitution by providing a safe path, advice, housing etc.
At the same time, Poppy/Eaves project have been campaigning hard for many years to make paying for sex illegal. Why? Because prostitution does not sit right on their tongues? Is this why they will have you believe that almost all prostitutes/escorts are working against their will?
I am one very strong individual. I do not get pushed into things. I'm stubborn [you already know this]. I knew exactly what I wanted out of this path I took and I have never lost sight of that.
I was asked lots of questions ie Had I ever taken drugs? Do I drink? Did I have a difficult childhood? etc etc. Of course my answers to everything was no.
It came to a point where she said "these questions are irrelevant to you because I know its going to be no"
Once the important stuff was over, she asked if she could make an audio recording of the next part. "Yes, sure"
I was in full mode, yapping away about my experiences with you boys. It was just general stuff. I can honestly say I did not have a single negative thing to say about escorting or the gentlemen I have met to date.
I quite enjoyed the interview. She knows me as Jasmin Delight. She knows my real age as it's already on my website and that's that! I was given a little pack to take home with me which included a journal and a pen as a little thank you for taking the time to meet her.

It was very brave to meet with Eaves, as they are a campaign group intent on criminalizing the purchase of sex. They have been interviewing quite a few ladies and have not mentioned this 'fact' to any of them.
By the way the information about visiting a brothel for a man being illegal, this is not true at all. Your police friend has not been straight with the truth.
Other than kerb crawling, under 18's and assult, the only illegal act for a man is to promise to pay for sex with a coerced woman. This could be a women working in a brothel, or could equally be a women working on her own in a flat for someone else.
There are some police offices who believe all women working in brothels are being coerced or mislead to work there, and therefore men are breaking the law if they visit a brothel. So far with that law they have managed to caution 3 men in 6 months. Visiting a brothel is not illegal, having sex with a coerced woman is illegal.
Other police forces, say Newport in Wales allow brothels to operate as long as there is no coercion, no illegal immigrants, no under 18, no drugs and no disturbance to the neighbours. They also keep an eye on any under 21s to make sure they are not being taken advantage of.

One other thing that the police officer told me was that offering Duo's was illegal too, as again this would be 2 girls working together hence making it a brothel. I would love to hear your take on this.
Yes I do believe I was rather brave to meet with Helen but it had to be done as the Poppy project seems to only give one side of the story

Yes offering Duos, or even sharing a flat, but not at the same time is also illegal. So many women independents are offering duos, or sharing premises, and I expect many don't realise that one of them at least is breaking the law.
Whether they would be prosecuted or not is another matter. Most of us break the law in one way or the other. I probably speed on motorways knowing full well the police are not interested in anyone doing under 80.
